The Chapter marked NIPM Foundation Day, the March monthly meeting and Women’s Day in a single evening built around the contribution of women to the HR profession.
Mrs. Subbashini M spoke on the influence women in HR carry over people practices, workplace culture and the future direction of organisations, drawing on her experience leading HR for manufacturing at Amway India.
The session addressed representation of women in manufacturing HR roles, the practical work of building inclusive shop-floor practice, and how HR leaders can widen the path for women coming into the profession in the Hosur belt.
The session closed with a networking dinner.
