National values, regional relevance — serving one of South India's most important industrial centres.
NIPM is India's premier all-India professional body representing professionals engaged in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Labour Welfare, and Training & Development. It came into existence on 15 March 1980 through the merger of two pioneering institutions — the Indian Institute of Personnel Management (Kolkata, 1948) and the National Institute of Labour Management (Mumbai, 1950).
As a non-profit professional body headquartered in Kolkata, NIPM advances professional excellence through seminars, conferences, HR technical training, research, publications and student development — and promotes the NIPM 4000-2016 Global Standards for Quality of People Process, its annual national conference NATCON, and its journal Personnel Today.
In the Hosur CorridorThe NIPM Hosur Chapter serves the vibrant and rapidly growing industrial belt of Hosur and its surrounding regions — one of South India's important industrial centres. The Chapter consistently engages with over 200 member organisations, from large-scale manufacturing plants to electronics, automotive and ancillary industries.
Working in close alignment with the values and objectives of the national body, the Chapter conducts seminars, workshops, conclaves and leadership development programmes that bring industry stalwarts together to address contemporary challenges in people management, industrial relations and organisational development.
Practising HR and IR professionals from the Hosur industrial belt, elected to steer the Chapter's programmes, partnerships and member services.
